Adding facd names to photos


I have over 1,000 pictures from a relative who has passed. I want to add face names to the people but don't know them. The names and a]date are itv the bottom of the picture but whenI click on it to add the names the title/file name does not appear

is there a solution?



iMac 27″, macOS 10.12

That looks like the Title field under the thumbnail. With the thumbnail selected use the key combination of ⌘ + i to bring up the Info pane for the photo. The top field will be the Title field:



OR you can enlarge the photo by double clicking on it and add a face and name to each of the faces in the photo by clicking on the + in the circle:
