Keynote Presentation-Help!

I am creating a Key Note Presentation for an Orientation for Freshman Parents at our high school. We have used the last few years, but did it LIVE in an auditorium. Due to current situation, we want to virtually send it out with our voices recorded on the presentation. I have started recording, but haven't gotten too far because I want to make sure I am able to send this out and that it "plays" the recording. I have tried multiple things and some people just can't hear the recording (those that I send to collaborate)

Here are my questions and appreciate anyone's help:

1-The file is so big, it's tough to send. Which file system is safe and can be used to send to someone?

2-Can I embed this onto a web site and have parents go to the web site to watch? If so, how can I do that? My webmaster cannot receive the file I send her because it's so big (she is not an apple user so doesn't do iCloud).

3-When I click on Collaborate (sharing options) and allow people to view, then I cannot seem to record anymore, I can only edit the pics in presentation.

Thank you for any help!

For your use, collaborate is not appropriate, it's meant for a team designing a presentation so each can edit and track changes.

You should export the presentation as a m4v movie file using File > Export > Movie

This is the most compatible file format for a presentation, any computer made in the last 20 years has inbuilt software to play it.

It can easily be embedded into a web page, you should contact either the hosting company of the website or the developer of the authoring software used.

Try a short test - 10 slides with a mixture of still photos, video and text, add the voice over and music, then export to movie and playback. Check the file size by right clicking the movie file and selecting get info.

This will be a learning experience, so come back for more support when you have completed the test file.
