Use IMac as a monitor only.
Hello,
I have iMac (21.5-inch, Late 2015) and planning to get a MacBook Pro 16inch and have been wondering if I can use my IMac as a monitor. Is it possible, if yes how?
Thanks in advance!

The 21.5" Mid 2011 iMac is a candidate for Target Display Mode, but keep in mind that using an aftermarket display is a lot simpler, more reliable and would use less energy.
For the needed adapter and cable, plus instructions and other info about TDM,

No you cannot, Target Display Mode was discontinued when the 2015 iMacs were released.
I have another older Imac (21.5-inch, Mid 2011) Will it work?
