Use IMac as a monitor only.

Hello,

I have iMac (21.5-inch, Late 2015) and planning to get a MacBook Pro 16inch and have been wondering if I can use my IMac as a monitor. Is it possible, if yes how?

Thanks in advance!

The 21.5" Mid 2011 iMac is a candidate for Target Display Mode, but keep in mind that using an aftermarket display is a lot simpler, more reliable and would use less energy.
