iPhone Reset
I'm having an issue resetting an old phone to Factory Settings and I keep getting the response "Verification Failed There was an error connecting to the Apple ID server". Any suggestions?

You need either a cellular data connection or a Wi-Fi connection to disable Activation Lock from the phone.

If the first part doesn’t work use the section on what to do if you no longer have the phone.
