Music - Want results from the Store - not adware for subscription service.

Currently using Music 1.0.5.14 under Catalina:( I used iTunes because it let me pick songs and pay for them. Hopefully the artists got their fair share. I still use an Apple iPod Classic or touch, not my iPhone for music. How do you search the iTunes Store for music? If I use the search box I keep getting the banner at the bottom telling me try the subscription service with no way to serch the store. If I click a result I get a pop up for the service. I am not interested in adware. I want a song or album, not a subscription. How do I get results from the store?

Options should be available to search within iTunes Store or listen for free with your subscription... Amazon is a viable option. Not saying the subscription service is a bad idea, but you should be able to opt out easily. Just Search Store or Play with subscription. And stop making everything about the phone. I bought the Mac to use a computer, not my phone, I bought my phone to make phone calls. I've already switched to back to windows for games. I can continue to use the iTunes Store or switch to Amazon. Does Apple want some money here and there or nothing?

Apple should also fix be opening searches in your preferred browser, not forcing Safari.

I'm more interested in How To Search the iTunes Store than my rhetorical question on Apple's un-friendly business practices. I'm moving away from Macs at this point. I am not interested in a subscription and don't want to hear "but the first month is free." That's just delaying the problem (assuming it works.)
