Bounce in place options all greyed out logic 10.5.1

I'm using logic 10.5.1, it was working up until yesterday. Today, all of my bounce options are greyed out.

• unable to bounce individual tracks or whole project
• verified i have no tracks selected
• bounce region in place shows as available but nothing happens when i click it. the other options are not clickable.
• When i hit share > song to music > and attempt to share my song to itunes, it says it exported but it does not do anything.

To my knowledge I have not changed any settings. The only difference on my computer is that today, I installed 2 (purchased, not torrented) plugins into logic (serum and vocalsynth.) I'm on Catalina. Any advice you have would be so helpful, i 'm very stuck with 6 songs that need to be exported.
