Can i trade in an iPad against a iPhone

I recently bought an iPad Pro. Now I have my old iPad 2. I would like to buy an iPhone SE using my old iPad as trade-in. However when in the iPhone buying section the trade-in only lists iPhones. Likewise in the iPad buying section it only lists iPads.
