Loophole for Screen Time?

I have a family member in my life for whom I am responsible as it relates to their internet usage. As it relates to their Apple Products, I have set up Screen Time restrictions on all their devices. I have found, though, that they are able to remove these restrictions by erasing their IPhone through the FindMyIphone app. Is there any way that I could counter their ability to use this app to bypass the restrictions I set up on their Apple products?

There is no solution involving a 3rd party app without jailbreaking the phone, which puts your minor at a much greater risk than bypassing any limitation you can put on it. You need to set up Family Sharing and use parental controls as they are intended to be used. See—>Family Sharing - Apple Support and —>Use parental controls on your child's iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch - Apple Support.

The only case where you can’t use Family Sharing is if you don’t have another Apple product. In that case there is a setting in Screen Time that blocks the phone from being reset.

Create an Apple ID for this task, and associate the device with that Apple ID, and do not share the password to this Apple ID, and do not release Activation Lock.

Or take over the existing Apple ID and password, with a different and non-shared Apple ID password.

Bypassing internet filters entirely is not particularly difficult, if the captive is inclined.
