apple replaced my 9.7inch ipad for battery and cost was $113, never had Apple Care now I want to buy it.

Buy Apple Care even though never had it after 1st year, now this ipad was replaced for battery fix and seems brand new.
So, buying Apple Care would be the best way to keep it new. Will apple sell it, or say, no, you never bought Apple care + either monthly or up front so no.

True, just confirmed with apple care on the phone in case of typos, that if you never bought apple plus then you can never ever buy it for that device even though it's brand new or the same you would get from the apple refurb store just one of those here's my money don't you want it?
But I must say the $113 free overnight shipping to and from and receive a brand new replacement due to the battery not holding a charge for a few minutes or immediate shutdown when starting an online or photo video, is a fantastic pluton in my favor.
Im still very happy and my other ipad will get to extend its apple car plus on a monthly basis but Now

You're too late to purchase the extended coverage. It would have had to have been purchased within 60 days of buying the iPad.
