Ios 13 nfc iphone x not working

I cant pay with apple pay anymore on my iphone X. Use to be quick tap and go but now it doesnt read. Unlocks with face id after I double click and settings are all switched on to allow it. Ver frustrating, especially during this pandemic.

apple pay error (guess it can’t read nfc) my phone is iphone 12 pro and I tried to use apple pay here but only my phone seems not working with nfc tags I found even if there’s no nfc reader in settings nfc is automatically read, but mine was not That means I can’t find nfc reader and also I can’t use the nfc function actually this is the very first time to use apple pay because I came from korea but my friends can use their apple pay well except for me here should I visit apple a/s center to check whether it is a problem of my phone? or there are any other ways to solve this problem?

Apple Pay works but phone won’t scan an NFC (freestyle libre - medical device) I use my phone as a medical device to check my blood sugars (diabetes) - the Freestyle libre device uses NFC - I scan it and it tells me my blood sugars. I’ve used my phone (iPhone SE) for this for over a year with no ottomans but the other day it suddenly just won’t scan. The sensors work as I’ve used a separate reader to check them. I’ve restarted my phone, deleted and reinstalled the app, cleared the data and even fully wiped and rebooted my phone and it still doesn’t work. if the NFC is broken (I’ve tried it in something else too and it doesn’t read) why does apple pay still work in the shops???

We cannot troubleshoot NFC issues here. You need to make an appointment with your nearest Apple Store Genius Bar for an evaluation. You might be able to get it done while you chat here - Contact Support
