Iphone Activation Help

Dear Sir,

I have an Apple iphone 7plus. I bought this device from Japan, as a used phone, and I used this phone normally for about a 3-4 month.

but after reset the phone, phone is now activation lock, The person who bought me this phone wrote me only apple id and password on a piece of paper.

i try to logging this apple ID but can not log this ID.

At the moment I only have the apple ID and password given by the previous owner of the phone. There is no Apple care company in my country to help me with this (My Country - SRI LANKA)

I ask for your help to continue using this phone.
