Plug-in view ("Controls") can't be changed to "Editor" / unchecked?

Hi!

Anyone else having the same - very annoying - issue?

I've unchecked [Preferences] > [Display] > [Mixer] > [Plug-in Window] > [Open in controls view], but it doesn't stay unchecked. So, every time I click / add a plugin, it opens in a "Controls" view rather than in "Editor" view. Am I missing something here? How can I change the default view?

Unfortunately doesn't work for me.

I've tried unchecking the box many times, but after I uncheck, close the menu and open some plugin, the plugin opens again in the Control view. Then I again open the menu and for some reason the box is checked, which I just unchecked!?

It seems that for some reason 1) unchecking is not saved by the Logic; or 2) opening a plugin overrides my preferences and checks the box automatically in the background.

Hi

I found this, hopefully it will help?

To change the default view from 'Controls" to 'Editor' follow these simple steps:

1. Go to the main 'Logic Pro X' menu on the top right hand corner of your screen.

2. Scroll down to the first option 'Preferences' and select 'Display'.

3. Click on 'Mixer' in the second sub menu area of the popup.

4. With 'Mixer' selected go to the first option Plug-in Window and uncheck the 'Open in controls view' and your done.
