Airpods Pro Serial Number "1" after replacement

I received warranty replacements of my left and right AirPods Pro today. Now the serial number in Settings -> General -> About -> AirPods Pro shows "1".


I know the serial number is on the case and also for each AirPods Pro itself, but why does it no longer show on my iPhone XS? This issue looks weird for branded product like Apple Airpods Pro.

Are the replacements set up? If not see this:

Set up your replacement AirPods or charging case

If no help, try a full reset:

Reset your AirPods
