Since the most recent update, to 8.11, the app does not hide the clock, battery, etc. at the top of the screen when playing video in full screen. Is this a bug with the new version or is there a setting I can adjust? Everything hides as usual when watching video on HBO, Netflix, etc. Thanks.

The update to prime video app that came out today appears to fix the issue for my iPad.

I am having the same issue. And although I appreciate the deprecating humorous reply to “Apple Recommended” from TopoChico, I personally feel “Apple” needs to get off the golden throne and contact Amazon Prime themselves to resolve the issue- clearly y’all butt hurt that Amazon makes more dough by selling cancerous sweatshop garbage.
