Photos
If I place my photos into a file and then delete the picture from the PHOTO app, will the pictures remain in the file folder? or will they disappear from there too?

You need to be very clear here, or you risk dataloss. If you export images from Photos to a folder, then it makes a copy of these images in the folder. Once exported they are quite independent of Photos. If you then delete the images from Photos, then exported images remain in the folder.
