Maildrop does not work

I am trying to send a 120MB attachment using Maildrop (Mac OS Mail).

Despite the setting is active in Mail preferences and the attachment's size is lower than the 5GB current maximum allowed by the service, it does not work.

And Mail does not propose to use the service like it used to.

How can this be solved?

I have found the source of the problem:

Since I am not using iCloud, it seems that the account was not logged in, therefore preventing the Maildrop service to work.

I went to System Preferences - iCloud and logged in, MailDrop was all at once working again.

If you run into a similar problem, just make sure you re logged in to iCloud.

@Apple, I had received no notification that I was logged out from iCloud recently. This is probably something to look at!

@BDAqua, thanks for the help trying to get to the bottom of this.
