MacOS 10.15.6 cannot open BDMV file.

I've recently updated my MBP 16 to MacOS 10.15.6. It happened that BDMV file could not be opened and it showed the message "The document “BDMV” could not be opened. An unknown error occurred (1718449215)". While my iMac with version 10.15.5 had no problem. What should I do?

Apple did indeed drop a lot of old codecs, but it would be pretty hard to believe Blu-ray would be one of them. When I try to open even my own Blu-ray movies created in Adobe Encore, with QuickTime, I get this:

The free VLC Player has no trouble running them.

Note that standard Blu-ray encoding of H.264, H.265, and DVD formats are still supported. So it makes no sense QT balks at opening a BDMV folder.

Thank you for your advice. It was my careless that I did not write in full detail. My point was that Quick Time Player could not open contents (files) within BDMV folder, after I updated MacOS to version 10.15.6 on my MacBook Pro 16. While on my iMac with version 10.15.5, it worked fine. I consulted Apple Care staff but was not successful. I thought it was the incompatibility issue.
