Is a bent iPad covered under apple warrenty

I got my iPad later year around November and now my Logitech rugged folio keyboard won’t work. After a couple weeks of it not working I decided to remove the case. I then found that my iPad is bent right where the smart connecter is. Since apple is closed right now I was wondering if It could be fixed

The smart connector is an area of greater chassis weakness. Unless detected at the time of delivery, Apple don’t generally accept any bends in the chassis for warranty purposes - using citing handling damage, by the user, as the causal factor.

As Apple does not offer iPad repairs, you may be offered an out-of-warranty exchange for a reconditioned iPad of the same model and specification. The cost for an out-of-waranty exchange is often quoted at c.60% of the “as new” cost of the iPad.
