Sling TV going black when trying to watch a recorded program

I have an AppleTV 4th gen and just signed up for SlingTV. When trying to play back a program recorded to the cloud, the show will start and about 1 minute later the screen will go black and freeze. I then navigate back to the menu screen and have restarted the AppleTV gone back into Sling watched another channel verify its working yet, going back to the show I was trying to watch from the cloud the same issue occurs, Screen goes black, freezes, need to reboot AppleTV.

We have 1gig internet speed, so we are well above the minimum requirements and NO other devices are in use while trying to watch TV, so there are no interruptions that could be causing a slow down in that arena.

Has anyone else experienced this issue with Sling? Is there an issue with playback from the cloud?

Any ideas? Trying to go strictly streaming but its not going well! HELP!!!!

Sounds like an issue with the service/app, you would need to contact Sling so they can investigate. In the meantime you can try force quitting the app as well as reinstalling.
