Here is how to use your Banks Bill Pay to pay Apple Card

In researching how to bay Apple thru my bank' bill pay app, so Apple does not have my routing and account number

which is a BAD idea, all the answers provided here said it was not possible. But I talked to Goldman Sachs specialist today and it is possible, here is how:

  1. Go to your wallet app and open. Click on the card icon and in the overview screen hit the 3 dots in the upper right of screen, then go 1/2 way down page to Card Information. Right click and your 16 digit account number is shown.
  2. Download your monthly Apple Card statement and at the bottom of each page is an address (likely in Philadelphia, PA) for Goldman Sachs bank. This is where the money is sent using the 9 digit zip code.
  3. Go to your bill pay app and set up the account using the account number and zip code from above. In my case at B of A, when I hit Apple Card as the payee, it automatically brought up Apple Card - Goldman Sachs which it needs to be. So if your bank does not have them as a payee, make sure to put both names. The GS rep stressed this is important!

Made a payment today and B of A confirmed. It was not a mailed check, but a 1 day payment, so it is done electronically.

Just to let everyone know, my Bank Bill Pay was received by Apple the next day by noon, so this process works!
