It is sending out messages on its own. I don’t have any pending messages to send. It is sending around 160 messages a day. I fear it would consume my load amount. I fear it might be a virus or a hack due to the apps I downloaded in the past.

When I was on an unlimited prepay plan, I did not notice this. I just noticed this when I started studying for a training and did not avail of any unlimited text promos. My load balance is zero. And if it was sending out text messages when I was on unlimited text promos, I do not see any messages on the Sent items.
Well, they should investigate this with you, not Apple, because SMS is a carrier feature and it sounds like the problem is on their side.
They can check what are these messages.
