All my journal writing in the app NOTES disappeared after re-installing the OS system

No, that is one of the problems...I didn't do a back up and iCloud wasn't enabled. My Mac Pro was upgraded in OS to Sierra and I thought I might be able to access files of the program from the crippled hard drive via USB. I checked out files beginning with SQLite 3.x that were suppose to hold the data, but nothing. Thought the files would still be on the crippled drive since nothing was deleted, just a couple of bad sectors not allowing me to boot up.

I had Disk Warrior 4.4 but it wouldn't open. I checked into the upgrade and it was almost $70 plus there was this blurb: Note: The “Startup Disk” of macOS Catalina (10.15), macOS Mojave (10.14), and macOS 10.13 High Sierra with SSDs (Solid State Drives) cannot be rebuilt with DiskWarrior as they are automatically pre-loaded with Apple File System (APFS). So I downloaded MAC DATA RECOVERY and if you were looking for ,documents and audio files, pics, videos then no problem. But it did nothing to improve my search for NOTES data, in fact I was able to find the SQlite3.x files from the hard drive itself (which contained nothing) but not in the recovered files. So another dead end.

Yeah I know but there is one possible way left and that is I wonder if I could find someone with the same operating system as my removed drive, because. Think maybe the notes in the app might be there but under that specific operating system to open the app. Updating my operating system has not helped. Could be a shot in the dark but its one stone I haven't turned over yet. Thanks for wanting to help.

Nope, dead end with Mac Data Recovery. So I am searching for ideas.
