My AirPods leak sound and the volume is too low too

My airpods leak sound so even when i’m at a lower volume everyone else around me can hear what’s playing. The volume is also too low. Even at the highest possible volume they aren’t nearly as loud as they used to be. Why is this and what can I do to fix it? This never used to be a problem with my airpods.
