iPhone Storage

I have iPhone 6S with 16GB storage. Recently, it's been giving a msg about storage is full. I deleted most of apps ( some very important) but still not enough space. After checking iPhone Storage under General settings, I noticed that the phone's system occupies 5.39GB and "Other" uses 7.42GB. "Other" described as System Data. In essence Apple is using almost 13GB of my 16GB, leaving me with just 3+GB left. WTH???

"Other" storage I have a 16GB iphone 6s. I am constantly having storage issues because the 'system' uses 5.2GB and 'Other' uses 8.3GB. Almost all my apps are offloaded and the app using the most storage is at 450MB. Is there anything I can do to lower the amount of storage that 'other' is using?

Why iPhone 6s storage is being mostly taken up by iOS and other system data? my iPhone 6s’s storage is being mostly taken up by IOS and other system data I know other system data is cooking but I don’t understand the iOS part that’s taking up 7 gb of my 15gb it’s causing problems because I don’t have space for barely anything along with the other 5gb being taken by other system data is there a fix to this problem?I tried factory resetting and backing it up but the problem just came back. iPhone storage I have “16” gigabytes worth of storage on my iPhone 6s and about 3/4 of it is being used on “other” and “system” and everything on my phone slows down because of it and my battery dies quicker because of it. How do I fix this so I can actually use my promised 16 gbs?
