Brand new SSD with H. Sierra installed days ago, crashed right now, need help on what's going on.

Hi,

I'm not worried about that single crash; anyway, I would make sure if there's still something I should take care further, after the recent technical improvement and fresh install.

Please see below the crash report.

Thanks in advance for any h

Your primary problem is it looks like you installed Bitdefender AV which at best is 100% worthless and potentially damaging to Mac OS. Please uninstall per the developers instructions and then restart in Safe Mode and retest. The best AV, security, cleaning and maintenance app is Mac OS itself. Adding third party AV Apps have zero benefit and offer no additional layers of protection.

Also, it does not appear that your backup this computer, if correct please do so otherwise it is a 100% guarantee you will will lose date.

Loks like Spotlight is having trouble with one file...

Pastebin is a good place to paste the whole report if you capture the URL while there…

Whew, they've changed pastebin & made it harder, but after pasting in, click Create new paste button, then Embed button, then copy the URL...

The important part is...

Workable but harder for me to work with...the Note tool on the bottom of this editor's toolbar, as shown in the image, to copy and paste the output from EtreCheck. In a Reply before you click post, look for this to add longer texts...

I installed EtreCheck and made a first run, without discovering any major issue.

The Etrechcek report is intended for posting here. There are many things within it that will not mean anything to one lreadin it for the first time, but will speak volumes to those of use who have review thousands of such reports.

The app is specifically designed so that not personal or secure information is revealed in posting it in ASC.

Actually I installed it, but that was on my previous SSD the one that broken recently.

Now I've got a new SSD, a new OSX and BitDefender is nowhere but in the external disc from which I'm recovering important documents - not apps.

How was BitDefender detected in this report? Just because it's still in the external backup copy?

Are you suggesting to erase every single bit of it, anywhere, then retry and use EtreCheck again?

Yes, TimeMachine is scheduled to be installed in a few.
