Animoji buttons not working

My Animoji buttons aren’t working in iMessage on my iPhone 11. When I click on them, nothing happens. I’ve force closed the app, restarted the phone and still nothing. The photos button and GIF button also don’t work, but the activity button, YouTube button and the other still work.

Apps in iMessage aren’t working I got this phone (iphone 12) a little over a month ago. It always has the latest update. (Currently iOS 16.3.1) A few weeks ago, I downloaded a sticker app on imessage, but it didn’t work. My phone acknowledges that I interacted with it but doesn’t open it. The keyboard is still there and it outlines the app with grey. I’ve tried multiple ways to fix it. I’ve reset my phone, turned imessage off and on, deleted the sticker apps, checked for any updates that the apps required, but it still doesn’t work. The only time it ever does work is right after I reset my phone. The sticker app opens once, but doesn't open again. I’ve tried this with multiple other sticker apps, but still no change. Please help me fix this. (The app is selected, but the keyboard stays the same.)

iMessage apps are not working My iMessage apps are not working. I’ll open iMessage, and when I try to click on #images, GamePigeon, Animoji or any other iMessage app, there is a small outline around the app, but it does not open. The only apps that do work are the App Store, and Other Apps thing(the one with the three dots). The only way I can use them now is if I search them up in the iMessage App Store, and click open. I have tried everything from updating to the latest version of iOS to restarting the phone itself, yet the issue still persists. The image I have attached below is what the Animoji app icon looks like if I try to open it.

Please check your restrictions on Screen Time

Thank you! That fixed it! I have my restrictions set during the day for working and didn’t realize it included the Animoji’s.
