App glitches

I have an app on my iPad (6th gen) that is continually having glitches. I have multiple friends with the same app (JW library) on iOS not having these problems. For one It refuses to update, and my Apple Pencil has stopped working in the app, even though it still works fine in other supported apps. I gave in and deleted the app and reinstalled it. It finally updated, but now I've started experiencing the same issues again. Suggestions?

Assuming you aren’t seeing the same issue with other apps, you should probably contact the app vendor.

No, it an app issue that is specific to your device and install. Contact the vendor.

It's clearly a device issue though, as my family member have the exact same iPad and that app is working fine on theirs.
