iMessage not showing my contacts names on my MacBook Air

Hello everyone! I have looked this up every where and tried all the solutions I found, still don't get the results. iMessage is not showing my contacts name on my MacBook Air, how do I get it to do so?

Hello SoniCab,

We understand that you'd like to view your contact names in Messages on your Mac, and we'd like to help! We recommend reviewing our page here: Set up and use iCloud Contacts

This is the best way to have your contacts across all of your devices. Once this is set up all of your contacts should appear in your Contacts app, and Messages, when you search for them. We hope that this helps!

Take care.

Hello Bailier,

Thank you for your answer. I reviewed your page and made sure everything was like the page recommends. Still can't see my contacts names on iMessage on my MacBook Air.

I have my contacts already using iCloud, however when I go to "Contacts" on my Mac there's no contacts there but mine. I got this Mac not so long ago and I have been trying to fix that for the longest.

Thank you for your help,

Stay safe!
