Can you advise me on heavy duty Cases that protect iPad Pro 12.9” and magic keyboard I was looking at the Zugu one but it doesn’t seem to do magic keyboard help

Then you'll need to buy a case, which you can't use when you use your Magic Keyboard. What you are asking for doesn't exist. No manufacturer has introduced a case like a Zugu or Otterbox, which can work with Apple Magic Keyboard. The item I linked is truly the closest thing you're going to find.
How stron is the case through Abd does that protect the iPad as well or just the keyboard if so how to you attach the keyboard with a case on the iPad I like the Zugu one but most seem to be have to be removed to put keyboard in leaving it totally unprotected when in use
To me, the Magic Keyboard is simple at its most elegant. Apple assumes if you spend this much money on an iPad and keyboard, you will put it in something safe for transport. Given the new keyboard has been out now for at least 3 months, I've not seen one post from anyone saying they dropped or damaged theirs.
I need one for when in use not when not in use that’s the problem in case I knock it off or drop it

There is no specially designed case for what you're asking about. You could certainly get something like one of thes from Amazon to keep your iPad and Magic Keyboard in while it's not being used or during transport:
