Popping and crackling on brand new MacBook Air

My MacBook Air only arrived yesterday and there is bad popping and crackling coming over the speakers already. I’m really disappointed as I bought the laptop for music production.

Can anyone offer any advice?

You can return it to Apple within 14 days of purchase and they will give you a replacement MacBook Air free of charge.
