How to update the Remote’s Firmware ?

The apple TV 4k remote’s touch surface should fast forward 10 sec when pressing the right edge of the surface, but it does only 1 sec,

will a firmware update help ? How to do that ?

note:

a left surface click is OK , 10 sec back
