How to stop Phone telling me that mobile data is off

I have found a way to do this, you sign out of your Apple account and the prompts stop. I will have to sign in and out again if I want an app from the store, but that happens quite rarely so its far less of a problem than the constant prompts.

So, after being asked to justify the question in a surly manner and then being given the wrong answer I have managed to solve it myself. I guess that's an example of how well this community supports Apple users.

Mobile data is expensive where I am. This response is not a helpful, relevant or accurate, do you have an answer to the question?

I'd still like to use the phone to make calls and receive SMS. If I turn on Airplane I would not be able to use the phone as a phone.
