I get emails daily from Disqus. These are largely replies to posts I have made. I have been completely unable to get these to show up in my inbox. They are only available in "All Mail".
I even tried a "rule"
No luck. Any thoughts? The email address listed is "notifications@disqus.net".
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Rules only auto work on the Inbox, might check your WebMail to see if it's marked wrong before your Mac gets it.
with gMail they really are not boxes All Mail is just one big List of eMail, some will be tagged as Inbox, some tagged as Sent, some tagged as Junk, & so on, Trash or Archive an eMail or even another "Box" like Inbox & it gets marked Archived.
Did you drag All Mail to Archived?
In my gmail account, when you access the email on the web site, the mail shows up in the inbox. Is that what you meant by "WebMail"?
Anyway, I tried what you said and all the messages in "All Mail" we immediately moved to "Inbox". It's still to ber seen if it happens to more of the incoming mail. I will let you know.
In the meantime, THANKS!! So far, it works.
When I established the new rule, the software asked if it should move the affected emails to the Inbox. I said yes and it did just that. A new email just came in and went to "All Mail" and not to the Inbox. So it did not work. Thanks for the effort.
FYI - For some reason the mailbox labeled "All Mail" is now called "Archive".
I am willing to try another mail client. Any suggestions. All those I have tried seem to have deficiencies like not showing all the folders I had on the gmail account.
Yes, WebMail is the gmail.com website.
All Mail includes the Inbox. Try Apply Rules again.
Apply rules works but only once. All new mail from disqus arrives only in "All Mail".
It’s possible that I dragged stuff when trying new clients. When I use the gmail website the Disqus mail is in the inbox. In Mac mail, it’s not.
