Mail randomly doesn’t send emails from gmail addresses

In my Apple mail app I have gmail addresses set up. I have recently been experiencing an issue where emails sent from those gmail addresses simply disappear after trying to send them. Not in sent, not in outbox, just gone. It is random as to which sending gmail address and also as to recipient address. Anyone have experience with this?

It seems not to matter what email address sent the messages. They are visible one minute and then just gone, sometimes on both the iPad and iPhone, sometimes on only one or the other. If I search for the messages by entering a search term such as "gmail," the message is sometimes listed in the search results, yet if I try to select the message, nothing is displayed. The same messages continue to be displayed with no problems by Mail on my iMac.

Since Ventura, the Mail app sends emails twice Since the Ventura upgrade, the Mail app sends emails twice, but it's not all emails, and I can't figure out why. What I see is that some emails get stuck in the Outbox, even though they left properly. As a result, they get sent a second time. I check existing thread with a similar problem. I tried keeping sent messages on my local machine only, but that didn't help. I removed my email account and then re-created it. It didn't help. I'm currently with Fastmail and using IMAP in Mail. Any help is greatly appreciated.

apple mail and gmail Does anyone else have problems with search of gmail accounts in apple mail? Every time I try to search for an email in say a persons name I get about 4 responses when there are in fact many more emails. And it is not always the latest emails, the selection can be completely random and from years back. It is impossible to find anything in the search panel of apple mail.
