I recently purchased 2 wireless charging pads which work fine for my iPhone 11Pro but will not charge my iPad Air 3 any ideas as why not?

Wireless, inductive, charging needs a device that has a housing/chassis made of glass, like newer iPhone models.

iPads have a housing/chassis made of an aluminium alloy that is incapable of any type of wireless, inductive charging.
