Ipad Repair

Looking for some guidance and help. I have sent my iPad Pro in for repair because of a hardware problem that I did not cause. They have authorized replacement, but can not tell me when replacement is coming because they are out of stock. I have been waiting a week and a half and have been told it could be up to a month. I need my iPad for work purposes. Looking for feedback if anyone else has been through this and how they resolved issue and got replacement iPad sooner. Please Help!

I understand we are in a pandemic. I am a clinical social worker and provide tele-health to people, which is very busy right now. I depend on my ipad to provide these services. In regards to stock. They have new ipads in stock that are the same, refurbished ones with different storage or a different color, but I have been told they can not do this because its against the rules. I would think to make someone happy during a pandemic they could bend the rules a little. Especially when your spending so much money. Thats why I asked the question. Thanks for listening.
