AirPods Pro - Strange Ear Pressure / Ringing

I've found that after using the AirPods Pro for an hour or so, I feel a strange and very unpleasant sensation of pressure that lingers in my ears after I remove them. Wore them last night and still feeling it this afternoon. There also seems to be a slight ringing, like tinnitus. I see others are experiencing this issue, so I'm posting to confirm and validate their experience.

I've been a professional media producer for 30 years and have used all types of headphones and earbuds, wired and wireless. None of them have ever triggered a physical response like what I'm experiencing with the AirPods. I realize that a very low percentage of users are having this issue, but it's definitely a real thing and it doesn't feel healthy. Could be that the product is doing something harmful, or it could be that I'm hypersensitive to something. I also understand some people are reporting this issue with other brands of Bluetooth headphones.

Anyway, just sharing my experience. I really like the AirPods, but I'm not sure I can keep using them, which is a bummer. Hoping someone can nail down the cause the cause and post a solution.
