Contacts ,and my own info.

On my iPhone 7plus . It shows my name and device as the phone or user/owner contact at top of contacts menu screen. When I scroll down through contact list, it also shows my name and number defined in small letters below as “me”..... why list 2times?

contact (name) list on my iphone (X model) I observe on my contacts list (which is on iCloud also) that some contact names are listed twice, with exactly the same phone numbers, emails, etc. When I try to erase the dublicate sometimes erases both two, thus I loose the contact and sometimes erases only the one I delete ? how to delete multple same names in contacts My iphone 12 pro has duplicated my wifes name/ email address and one other name multiple times in my contacts. Not just a few but I believe to be close to 100 each. How did this occur and what can I do to fix it? I hope to not have to delete each one individually. There must be some kind of solution to this, its 2021 right ? lol

It is most likely just that one file of ”your information” shown at two places . One on the very top, and one with “me” marks its location in your contact list.
