I noticed yellow patches on my screen. At first I thought it might be a software issue. Restored my phone and it's still there so I know for a fact that it's related to the hardware. But I promise I have not dropped my phone, I have no idea why this has happened. It wasn't something that grew over time but rather abrupt.
To all who have yellow patches in screen and out of warranty,there’s a easy fix which help to remove the yellow patch in top of my phone.i used some ice on yellow patch area in my phone about 1 minute and immediately I noticed a reduced fainting yellow then I decided to leave it alone and now after 5 hours barely I can see the yellow patch,seems it slowly disappearing...just give it a try may work or not on yours but hey you got nothing to loss...
That sounds great. I guess I need to give my XR a Ice pack too.. Could you elaborate how did you apply Ice (considering it'll make the phone surface wet) and any post care when you left it for 5 hours.. if possible share a pic, thanks again :)
my phone is 1yr 3months old. I had taken apple care extended warranty for another one year. So currently it is in apple care protection plan
I haven't got mine fixed yet.. didn't step out to visit an apple service center due to the lockdown restrictions.
