I have an IPad Air. I used it last night and now there are ghost images of the prior apps whenever I open a new app. Any ideas on how to correct this?

If none of this works for you, the only solution to screen “ghosting”, or screen “burn-in” is to completely charge up your iPad, power it completely down and completely stop using it 4 days, or so, to let the screen pixels “de-energise”.

This is what I have done in the past with my own iPads when they get this issue.

You MUST leave the iPad completely powered and not turn on, at all, for this 4 day period.

Leaving the iPad powered down and not used for a full day or two is NOT enough time.

I tested this, too! It is not enough time for the iPad screen pixels to “de-energise” sufficiently.

Do not power on or use your iPad for a full 4 days!

This should clear up the screen “ghosting”, “burn-in” for some time.

Best of Luck to You!
