Error msg: in order to play a few songs that I bought years ago, I must authorize them using a very old Apple ID that is no longer valid. Can I transfer songs to current ID? Not sure what recently changed. Been listening to these songs fine for years.
Unfortunately, you would have to do that.

You can't transfer purchases between Apple IDs. You need to delete the songs and download them using your current ID.
Which means purchasing them again?
