Apple News works on my iPhone, but I get a Regional error on my laptop

I recently moved back from Australia to the United States a few months back but I'm having trouble with my News app on my Macbook.

Pretty much any story I click says "This story isn't currently available in your region. If you recently signed in to iCloud, try signing back in to the App Store." Stuff like NPR, CNN, etc... should work fine.

I have updated my iCloud address, country, and credit card to reflect my current United States occupancy and everything else works fine... but my News app. Any ideas? As I said in the title, I can read any story just fine on my iPhone but I get this error message on my laptop which is what I used to use every morning for News. They both have the same Apple account connected, obviously
