How do I get HBO Max on my Apple TV app through my LG TV?

We have a 2019 LG smart TV and we have an Apple TV app for the TV. Is it possible to get HBO Max app added to the Apple TV app so we can watch HBO Max content through the LG TV?

No, unfortunately, HBO has organized it differently for HBO Max. You will need a separate app.
