Grageband input device not working despite being shown in track input section

I use garageband in Mac OS catalina and never does the input device(airpods pro in my case) work when trying to record audio. garageband is selected in security options, and airpods are chosen as input devices in the input handler too but still when hitting the record button, it still says no imput device. Frustrating

Spatial Audio on Beats Studio 3 It’s not so much of a question, but a clarification of questions I have seen. I recent bought Beats Studio 3 wireless and was confused about if they had spatial audio. My AirPod Pros have a toggle on the control menu but the Beats do not. On the Apple website it does not say that it has spatial audio, but on the beatsbydre website it does list spatial audio as a feature. Before I continue, I would like to note that I think Spatial Audio and Spatial Audio with head tracking are different things. My AirPods play sound relative to the device streaming the audio (with head tracking). The Beats do not (spatial audio only). In conclusion, Beats Studio 3 Wireless do have spatial audio, and this can be tested with a simple Dolby Atmos test on YouTube. They do not have head tracking like the AirPod Pros do. Bose Companion 5 not working with latest Mac OS (Ventura) I just wanted to resurface a solution to this problem that another member posted some time ago, and which is in a closed thread. The original message read: "There are many threads over the Internet discussing issues with Bose Companion 5 when connected via USB. I found no answer in those discussions, but I found a solution and I'd like to share it here. All the old threads are locked, so I can't post a reply, so here we are. Chances are you exactly know what I'm talking about if you found this page in your search engine results ;-) What was happening: My Companion 5 frequently stopped working after a little while of having the music paused, or when I switched audio outputs (think listening music via speakers, then making a call via headphones, then wanting to switch back to loud music via speakers - the second time no sound went out until I disconnected and reconnected the USB cable). I am running a 16" Macbook Pro with all the latest updates. The issue occurred when the speaker was connected using a USB-C to USB-A dongle and then USB-A to USB-B cable. All my issues disappeared when I used USB-C to USB-B cable without any dongles." I wanted to let all know that using a USB-C to USB-B cable (without dongles) indeed resolved this issue for good. I had sent Bose my subwoofer unit for repair, but the issue persisted. But using the previously mentioned cable solved all issue immediately. Posting here in case it is helpful to anyone.

Gapless looped playback not working after iOS/iPadOS 16.2 update I am using the Apple Music app on both my iPhone XS and iPad Pro 10.5". When I set the playback mode to "Repeat 1" and listen to any track that should loop seamlessly (for example, a continuous rain sound), there is a 1 second gap when the track restarts. This obviously ruins the experience - can anyone else reproduce this? The problem didn't occur prior to iOS/iPadOS 16.2. Things I have tried that make no difference to the problem: Using AirPods vs built-in speakers Disabling Lossless Audio Disabling Sound Check I noticed that if I manually scrub forward to the end of the track, it repeats without a gap. But of course that isn't helpful.
