I am trying to move to Apple Notes from Evernote. Some of my imported notes contain examples of how to write HTML. When I imported them, the code was lost and only the resulting output of the code shows instead. Is there any fix for this?
Do not assume that Apple's Notes application is identical in content support as Evernote. The underlying body text of a given note in the Apple Notes application is html, though it is displayed as viewable text. Your copy/pasted HTML code would appear as you stated because of this fact.
The following AppleScript displays the HTML beneath the first note of my Notes folder "Blue":

Thank you for the reply. It seems odd to me that the application would not offer an option to enter text as plain text instead of reading the code. Since the terminal command above, if I switched it to an entire folder, would probably show the plain text as code as well, I'm probably out of luck, as far as using this application, given my studies. I would imagine a lot of people have run into this.
