My USB connected keyboard will not connect to the brand new IMac that I set up today. I have tried all of the tricks that I can find online. I have tried 2 different keyboards. This is so frustrating! The screen is in a perpetual spin

You will need to figure out how to put your keyboard into pairing mode in order for your Mac to discover it and pair with it. Look over the keyboard, especially the underside near the battery compartment, for a pairing or reset button. You may need to hold this button while turning on power in order to put the keyboard into pairing mode.
