Lost contacts!

we gave my wife’s iPhone to my daughter and my wife upgraded. My daughter erased all the contacts and it erased them on my wife’s phone, see was trying to fix it and erased the ones that were still there. What can she do, if anything?

You need to do two things. First, you need to create a new Apple ID for your daughter and move her onto that new Apple ID.

Then, you need to restore your wife's new phone from a backup image taken before your daughter erased her mother's Contacts.
