If I buy an AppleCarePlus in Japan,can I use it in the US?

I need a new iphone immediately and I want to buy an AppleCarePlus in Japan. In 2 years, I am planing to move to the US. Can I use AppleCarePlus in the US? Thanks!

Does AppleCare+ provide world wide coverage? Could someone clarify if an iPhone has international warranty coverage? In addition, what about AppleCare+ for iPhone? Can I get service under AC+ in a country different from the one where it was purchased? Thanks!
