accuracy and reliability of App Store ratings?

This app has a 3.8 average with lots of 5 star ratings, yet none of the reviews have a rating higher than 3 stars with nearly all others rating it 1 star.

I understand that many more users will take the 2 seconds to rate a review than will spend a minute or two writing a review, but situations like this seem suspect. Where did all those 5 star reviews come from?

Are ratings reviewed by Apple to look for possible rating inflation (or outright fraud)?

Can't read ratings I have an iPhone 8 running iOS 13.2.3. I'm looking at an app in the App Store. I see the Ratings & Reviews section. It says 4.3 out of 5 and there are 7 reviews with a bar graph on how many 5, 4, 3, 2 and 1 star ratings. That's it. Nothing to click on to see what any reviewer said. I tried signing out and back in again. The "See All" button isn't there. Does that mean none of the reviewers said anything? Thanks!

Unable to Write Review I want to write a review for this app I have (Infinite Flight), but even though I own it, it says I need to own it to write a review. Any solutions?
