Airdrop preview doesn’t show..

Hi! When I airdrop a picture to others the small preview photo doesn’t show up for the reciever, only decline or accept. When I recieve an airdrop, the picture shows up, so I guess the problem is with my phone. Does anyone know how to fix this?

airdrop is missing from my general settings in ios 17.1 Airdrop is no longer coming up when I try to share a photo. I tried going to settings > general > airdrop but that is missing as well. I tried searching airdrop under settings and nothing comes up. When I pull down from the top right corner and hold the network icon the Airdrop receiving button is off. Even if I click on it nothing happens. Any suggestions?

AirDrop preference continually reverts back to “Receiving Off” Tried sending a photo from an iPhone to my iPad, both running iOS 14.7.1 with no success. Checked settings in both and found that in my iPad, the AirDrop setting has “Receiving Off” checked. When I check either of the other two options, it continually reverts back to off, even though it says “Everyone” in the Control Center. Why can’t I get “Everyone” to be persistent? How do I fix this? Your help is most appreciated! Ralph

Airdrop Receive notifications Please am trying to airdrop a photo from a friend iPhone to mine, but my own Airdrop receive notification is not appearing on my screen to enable me receive. Please what’s the cause.

Hello Aleksander197,

It sounds like you are saying when you AirDrop an image others do not see the preview, but you see the preview.

"If the person you're sharing content with is in your Contacts, you'll see an image with their name. If they're not in your Contacts, you'll see just their name without an image."
